Hi All
Could anyone please share their experience (like what to expect during the call, how much time will it take to finalise the audit) if gone through ATO audits.
Many thanks for help

Hi, I had an ATO audit about 4 years ago, they selected 3 files to go through. I sat with ATO officer for about 2 hours and explained our files. One question I was not prepared for was they asked what the qualifications of the staff working on the files was. He took a backup copy of the files and sent a final letter with findings a few weeks later. Interesting to note all funds had property (2 with LRBA's) and that is why they selected those files with particular attention given to checking what evidence we had on the market value of property.
Hi Sandeep,
Do you mean when the ATO is auditing a client fund, or they are reviewing the auditor's audit file/work? It is a bit of a different process depending on which type of audit/review they are conducting.
Hi Sandeep
Will leave this open to forum members to reply with their experience of going through an ATO audit.
Thanks
