Why isn't EVERY seminar/webinar/etc. that we attend as SMSF Auditors counted as AUDIT!
Surely, any thing we attend, to do with SMSF's, helps us to be better Auditors because we learn what advisers, accountants and Trustees are doing out there!
When you become a member of The Auditors Institute, you immediately gain access to expertise, advocacy for your profession and peace of mind.

Hi Dennis,
An approved SMSF Auditor is required to undertake at least 30 hours of relevant continuing professional development every three years. This CPD must include a minimum for each of the below categories:
* eight hours of superannuation training
* eight hours of financial or compliance audit training
* four hours of financial accounting training
We agree that any training re superannuation should help auditors in carrying out their audit of SMSF's. As an Association we are trying to provide seminars to assist auditor's in meeting their CPD requirements.
