What are my responsibilities if one accountant has used my name as auditor on SMSF tax return and lodged it.
Should I report straight away to ATO or wait till end of year when ATO has ask me to verify the reports?

Where an auditor is aware of an accountant lodging a fund return and the accountant is incorrectly using the auditor's details, this should be conveyed to the ATO once the information comes to hand. The ATO and the Tax Practitioners Board take these matters very seriously.
