I am an SMSF auditor but also do work on funds. The firm I work for doesn't have super fund accounting software and I have a fund that is winding up. Members need to rollover their balances to an industry fund using Superstream. Can anyone tell me where to access the software to enable the client to do the transfer via Superstream. I have have read that they also need an ESA. Thank you.

Hello Deborah
Thanks for your question.
You are correct in your conclusion that the proposed rollover from the SMSF to an APRA regulated fund will have to be done via SuperStream and the client SMSF fund will need an ESA (electronic service address).
The link provided immediately below (to the ATO website) provides a list of software providers.
https://www.ato.gov.au/businesses-and-organisations/super-for-employers/paying-electronically-through-superstream/self-managed-super-funds/electronic-service-address/register-of-smsf-messaging-providers
There is table with column headings "Contributions" and "Rollover and release authorities". In your situation you will need a software provider that has "Yes" in the "Rollover and release authorities" column.
There is a cost involved in accessing the software. For example, the Australia Post offering has an annual fee of $59.99.
