Just checking if anyone has a reference for valuing shares under escrow. It's a $10m fund and 2m is in these listed shares, half of which are under escrow and cant be traded. The valuation on share registry is nil but share price is 0.55 now and 0.74 at 30/06/2023. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Hi Alice
My view is you would value the shares as at the 30 June 2023 price of $0.74. I would then request that the financial statements have a note to the accounts that explains that half the shares are under escrow and cannot be traded. The note should also refer to the decrease in value of the shares post 30 June 2023 as that would be a material event post balance date.
Thanks
